A Great Super Power Yes - But World Police Force - No:-
Many folks around the globe see the USA as a global super power of such magnitude that nothing can touch it. And so, what better opportunity to use it to police the world, but I ask how can the US continue to police the world as other nations work so hard to unravel the peace, create unrest, and scheme towards war and conflict? Indeed, if the US continues to try to police the world, then who is going to save the US from the economic hardship involved in the costs associated with doing so?
Indeed, America does not want to be saved in this regard, but there are too many interests that are too conflicting to continue. If the US continues to be the world's policeman while other nations are busy messing things up at every step, then indeed, we'll be bankrupt and lose Super Power status anyway, or so some have said. Unfortunately, there are lessons to be learned, too bad they have to be learned over and over again.
If the US does not take a leadership role we cannot expect the corrupt EU leadership to do it, the Russians have shown their cards, China is very self-absorbed in their foreign endeavors, and the nations on their way up like Brazil, Australia, Canada with resources want to stay neutral, who can blame them.
Japan just wants to live without any problems but their side of the world is changing, they are troubled, balances of power are changing, very quickly as in like right now. Middle East, Asia, and South America all see trouble on the horizon. Meanwhile we can forget about Global Warming, we have nations running out of water, and have been for 50-years, it keeps getting worse.
The USA cannot police the whole world, and the reality is when things occur, everyone is looking for opportunity in the crisis anyway. Thus, the chaos around the globe continues, as the world turns. But you have to admit it is interesting isn't it?
