Plan to Keep the US the Only World's Super Power:-
Most economists are watching China's economy grow at an exponential pace, and it has been growing at 10% per year, year-over-year for over three decades now. Is it possible that it can continue to grow at this rapid pace? As with anything there are those who look at charts and rely on them, and believe that any growth on a 30 year chart like that will surely keep growing at that rate. But this is what bubbles are made out of, and why conventional wisdom can be dangerous.
The reality is that China cannot continue to grow at 10% year-over-year growth, because to do so it would have to sell its products to the rest of the world, more and more products, while it continues to grow and grow. The reality has that China would need five markets the size of the United States buying power to continue to grow at the same pace for the next 10 years. That is absolutely impossible and let me tell you why. There are not five markets worth of customers the size of the United States with its incredible GDP in buying power; and middle class consumer base.
Russia and the United States used to be the world's only super powers, and they provided a balance between communism and capitalism in the world. Today, the United States is the only superpower. Its economy is still well over three times as large as China. Still, with 1.3 billion people China will eventually catch up with the United States, but it will take a lot longer than folks are projecting presently, that is unless the United States has an economic collapse due to their inability to control money flows, trade deficits, and their unending debt.
In other words, we crash and they keep going, but that won't work either because if we crash, there goes their customer base for all they produce, so that's a dead end when our two nations are economically and monetarily tied together. Likewise, we have a vested interest in seeing China do well too.
Even if the United States has only moderate growth of 2 to 3%, and China were to have another decade of 10% year-over-year growth, then China would barely get to a place where they could call themselves equal on an economic footing based on GDP. Now if this concerns many US citizens, and if they want to prevent China from overtaking the United States in economic power, military power, and surpass the United States of America as the world's greatest superpower; then I have a great plan.
The United States can outsource our diabetes problem and our fat, dumb, and happy lackadaisical disposition!
