Articles Writing

Article Writing:-

Writing is the end product of language competence. Good language skills do not ensure an effective outcome in writing. In order to be a good writer one must be aware of the components and strategies that would make up the core of his writing.
Sentence and Paragraph are two important levels which should be mastered before writing a satisfactory article. Organization and content will only produce the desired result within the boundaries of a well-established structure. A good writer must be able to present his ideas in the most appropriate way that will absorb the target audience (the reader).  A disorganized and carelessly presented set of ideas will be a failure no matter how precious information or views they involve.
Accuracy and fluency of your writing are two determining factors, the level of which will either enhance or lower the satisfaction of the reader.
Paragraph
A good paragraph has 3 essential parts:
A. TOPIC SENTENCE
1.  TOPIC     2.  CONTROLLING IDEA
B. SUPPORTING SENTENCES
1. DESCRIPTIVE
2. EXPOSITORY
3. EXAMPLIFICATION
4. DISCUSSION
5. CAUSE AND EFFECT
6. COMPARE AND CONTRAST
7. NARRATIVE
C. CONCLUDING SENTENCE
A. TOPIC SENTENCE
Every good paragraph has a topic sentence. It is the most important sentence in a paragraph and briefly indicates what the paragraph is going to be about. In other words, it focuses on the main idea of the paragraph and does not give any specific details.
A topic sentence has two essential parts:
The Topic names the subject or main idea of the paragraph.
The Controlling Idea makes a specific comment about the topic, which indicates what the rest of the paragraph says about the topic. That is, it limits or controls the topic to a specific aspect of the issue to be discussed in the space of a single paragraph.
B. SUPPORTING SENTENCES
They develop the Topic Sentence. That is, they explain the topic sentence by giving reasons, examples, facts, statistics, and quotations.
C. CONCLUDING SENTENCE
A concluding sentence is not absolutely necessary; in fact, a concluding sentence is not customary for every paragraph in a multiparagraph essay. However, for single paragraphs, especially long ones, a concluding sentence is helpful to the reader because it signals the end of the paragraph and because it is a reminder of the important points.
A concluding sentence serves three purposes:
1. It signals the end of the paragraph.
2. It summarizes the main points of the paragraph.
3. It gives a final comment on your topic and leaves the reader with the most important ideas to think about.
