The Secrets of the Universe:-
Since beginning of time people have searched for the secrets of the universe. They have tried to become one with the universe. Some have worshiped the stars, the moon and various animals that are part of the universe. Some believe after they die they will return as someone else or perhaps an animal.
The universe in and of itself does not have any magic. It continues to do what it was created to do, bring the sunshine, clouds, rain, snow, and the seasons. The secrets lie with the Creator of the universe.
Job questioned the Creator and the Lord answered him out of the storm. Who is this that darkens my counsel with words without knowledge? Brace yourself like a man; I will question you, and you will answer me. Where were you when I laid the earth's foundations? Tell me, if you understand. Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know! Who stretched a measuring line across it? On what was its footing set, or who laid its cornerstone-while the morning stars sang together and all the angels shouted for joy
(Job 38:3-7)?
God asked many other things about the universe of Job, but he could not answer. Neither can any mortal.
Many who look for the secrets of the universe are seeking without knowledge. We do not need to get our information from the dead or the stars or fortune tellers. The Lord said, "When they say into you, Seek unto them that have familiar spirits and unto the wizards, that chirp and mutter; should you not ask your God? Why do you consult the dead on behalf of the living? If they do not speak according to this word, they have no morning for them" (ISA 8:19).
It is not given to us to know everything. The secret things belong to our God, but the things revealed belong to us and to our children forever, that we may follow all the words of this law (DT 29:29).
The word of God, the Bible, reveals everything we need to know about the secrets of the universe for salvation. This divine word mentions nothing about returning after death as a different person or an animal. It says that mankind is destined to die once, and after that the judgment (HEB 9:27).
The Bible is written in covenant language. Everyone is judged according to whether they keep their covenant with God. Today, our covenant is found in the New Testament, which is the last will and testament of Jesus Christ. God has no relationship with those who are not in covenant relationship with him. He has not promised to save anyone who has not submitted to the authority of Christ by complying with the terms found in the New Testament.
Everyone is commanded to repent of their sins (Acts 17:30), confess the name of Jesus (RO 10:9), and be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit for the forgiveness of their sins (MT 28:19). We are then to live faithfully until death (REV 2:10).
